Role: Design Lead
To establish consistency across Goldman Sachs’ digital ecosystem, our team was tasked to create a Native Mobile Toolkit—a centralized library that streamlines native mobile design and development through shared foundations and scalable components.
As part of our process, we followed a three-phase approach spanning discovery, design, and transition. This included a comprehensive audit of the GS ecosystem, refining native patterns to align with the One GS core taxonomy, analyzing best-in-class enterprise design systems, and designing new native components alongside a clear transition plan to support adoption.
We ran two-week design sprints to rapidly design, test, and validate native mobile concepts and components with stakeholders, incorporating continuous user feedback. At the end of the 15-week engagement, we delivered foundational and atomic elements, Figma components, and motion and usage guidance. The result was a native mobile toolkit built on the One GS Design System core library, comprising 15 components with full light and dark mode support and clear usage guidelines.
